MS013 COM: Easy to use. Hard to beat (12V)

Contemporary voltage regulators with COM (LIN/BSS) terminal cannot be properly tested without such diagnostic adapter. MS013 COM simulates control signals for a tested voltage regulator. It contains integrated physical and program interfaces of all actually existing control modes of modern alternators. Adapter is controlled by clock encoder with button to install and change parameters. Installation and parameter data appear on LCD display. Adapter MS013 tests the alternator assembly (the alternator assembled with the voltage regulator). Testing in the car is carried out with the help of four-wire cable. The adapter is connected to the car electrical system according to the color marking. For accurate voltage measuring, the adapter’s negative wire should be connected to the corresponding battery terminal. Testing of the voltage regulator separately from the alternator is conducted with the help of nine-wire cable. The device is connected to the voltage regulator according to the color marking. The tester possesses the opportunity to change existing and implement new functions and interfaces in the software. Update download is carried out through USB port. Built-in power supply gives an opportunity to use the device as high-precision ohmmeter or generation of arbitrary PWM signals. In oscillography mode connection to the source of analyzed signal is carried out with the help of the four-core cable.
